PEP follow-up care

After collecting your 5-day PEP starter pack from an emergency department, you'll need to visit a sexual health clinic to get the rest of your 28-day course of medication. They can also arrange any testing and vaccinations which you may need.

Some clinics have limited opening hours, so check the details below.

We will tell the clinic you selected about your PEP referral, so they should contact you to make an appointment. If you have not heard from them 3 days after your visit to the emergency department, contact them to book an appointment. If the opening hours or appointment times of your chosen clinic mean that you cannot get an appointment within 5 days of your visit to the emergency department, contact any other clinic from the list.
